I woke up early and went to the gym. Back and core today. I pushed the core hard. The knee felt good, stable, present but not limiting.
Kids went to school, and I switched into work mode at home. A productive morning, but I missed doing some cardio. Around noon, I decided to swim.
Back home after the swim, lunch and coffee came quickly, and then I crashed. Full shutdown. I guess the combination of gym and swimming was more than I expected. Twenty minutes of sleep did the trick. I woke up reset and went straight back to work.
Later, I went down to meet Cleyber. We talked about Taka and his approach. Since my legs were already tired, especially quads and glutes, we kept squatting light and focused more on anterior muscles.
Then massage and flexion. Flexion is looking good now. Only about five degrees left to reach full range.
I asked him about the pain that appears right after pushing flexion and then straightening the leg. He explained it’s the liquid moving around inside the knee. As long as there’s swelling, that sensation will remain. It made sense.
Back home again to finish work, then a taxi to meet Renato, my business partner. We talked through new ideas and then went together to an event with investors and other entrepreneurs. Great energy. Sharing stories of success and failure always helps. It reminds me that struggle is part of the process, not a sign of doing something wrong.
Back home late. Ice, a bit of TV with my wife, and sleep. Later than usual, but I fell asleep fast.
A long day. A full one.
Key Takeaways

- Short naps can reset productivity without derailing the day.
- Swelling explains sensations that might otherwise cause anxiety.
- Progress is measured in degrees, patience, and understanding.
- Sharing struggles with others reduces their weight.
