Day 75: Active Rest, Clearer Head

A calmer, better-balanced day where rest and light activity worked together. Flexion felt smoother, the knee reacted well to reduced load, and a short swim added gentle cardio without backlash. Less pressure, more listening, and the knee responded positively.

I woke up feeling better in my head, and that made all the difference. Instead of overthinking, I started moving the knee right away. Flexion felt good. Not perfect, but clearly better than yesterday. And still, I know it can improve.

The morning belonged to tennis, at least as a spectator. I watched the end of the first Australian Open semifinal. Alcaraz and Zverev went to war for four and a half hours. Then Djokovic and Sinner followed with another five-set battle. Incredible matches. Inspiring and painful at the same time. I really miss being on court.

I worked from home today, no physical meetings, no rushing around. That changed everything. More time to do extra exercises, more chances to keep the leg elevated, even some proper icing. Yesterday was a push. Today was about absorbing it.

As the day went on, I felt better. Ate well. Rested properly. In the afternoon, I went for a quick gym session. Chest and triceps, nothing involving the knee too much. After that, I headed to the pool and did a short 20-minute cardio session. That felt great. Smooth, light, almost freeing.

Back home, I spent time with the kids, then went downstairs again for a quick 15-minute massage. Focused on my lower back and right leg. It helped release the tension that tends to build up after sessions with Cleyber.

The evening slowed down nicely. Kids in bed. Ice on the knee. Quiet time. The day had movement, but also space. By the end of it, the knee felt better. And honestly, so did I.
