I slept well and long. Finally back in my own bed. That alone made a difference.
Quick breakfast and an immediate sense of feeling well. The knee was less angry today. Not drinking and not overeating yesterday made me feel light and healthy. I really love this feeling.
My wife came back today after traveling for seven days. It felt great to have her home. I missed her. I missed the energy she brings, a bit of chaos, but the good kind. The kids missed her a lot too. Moments like this make me deeply grateful for them and for her. During the worst days, their presence alone helped more than they know.
I went to the gym and trained chest and triceps. Solid session. Later, lunch was not so light. A lot of gluten, Arabic food. I generally feel better without it, but from time to time a good esfiha is worth it. No wine, of course. I want to keep it that way.
The rest of the day was easy. Kids playing a new video game, me working a bit, catching up with my wife. We went out for a quick yogurt, then back home. Five hundred meters of swimming and a short sauna session.
In the evening, I put the kids to sleep and started packing again. Tomorrow we travel to Minas Gerais. Another adventure ahead, and I’m genuinely excited.
Before bed, one more PowerDot session and ice.
A really good day.
