Week 14

Day 95: Between Control and Temptation

A day marked by early discipline, creeping doubts, and a familiar internal battle. Physical strength returned during training, but mental resilience was tested later.

I woke up at six and went straight to the gym. The pain was still there. That triggered some bad thoughts, the kind that quietly suggest something might be wrong.

I trained back and biceps first, then moved on to legs. Slowly at the beginning, carefully watching how the knee would react. When the pain faded, I pushed a bit more. The knee held up.

Back in the room, shower and breakfast. I felt good again. Not drinking much the day before helped, and starting the morning with movement clearly set the tone.

We went back to the park to see more installations and art. The weather helped, with clouds hiding the sun. Still, after some time, that strange knee sensation returned. We decided to keep it shorter today and went back to the hotel.

Pool time followed, and unfortunately, wine too. Too much. I felt weak for not being able to say no. That part frustrated me.

Back to the room, a movie, dinner, and one last glass of wine. I took the rest of the evening easy. By 22:00, I was back in bed.

A mixed day. Strong in the morning, less so later. Still moving forward, but clearly still learning.
