I didn’t sleep well last night. Awake at three, then again at four. When the alarm went off at six, I was tired, but I pushed myself to go to the gym.
Shoulders and abs only. I wanted to train legs, but the pain was still there, especially when walking. Mostly on the outside and back of the knee. It sucks. Simple as that.
Back in the room, I squeezed in a PowerDot session. Trying to do what I can, even when motivation is low.
Breakfast, then back to the park. Walking more didn’t help. The knee felt worse, and the fatigue accumulated. I went back to the hotel feeling drained.
Lunch, pool, a few drinks. Sun, family, friends. Those moments helped, even if they didn’t fix the knee.
In the evening, we returned to Belo Horizonte. Hotel again. I felt tired and grumpy, mostly because of the knee and the constant background pain.
We went out for a quick dinner and had some wine again. Not ideal. I got back to the room early and called it a day.
Not every day is progress. Some days are about endurance.
Key Takeaways
- Poor sleep amplifies pain and frustration.
- Listening to the body sometimes means stopping, not pushing.
- Walking volume still needs to be managed carefully.
- Recovery days are emotionally harder than training days.
- Family and sunlight help, even on low days.
